We are passionate about breeding and raising Purebred Registered Show-Quality Highland Cattle, with a special focus on providing exceptional stud bulls for future breeders. Our Highlands are an investment, but when you consider they’ll be with you for 20+ years, it’s worth choosing the perfect fit. All our stud stock are born and bred in Queensland, raised specifically for local conditions. Our Purebred Registered cattle are paddock-friendly, fully vaccinated, and come with complete animal husbandry records, registered with the Australian Highland Cattle Society or the Poll Highland Cattle Society of Australia.

Bobby of Vagabond was born on the 12/03/25 and is the most affectionate of steers and will follow you anywhere for a scratch. He is not as hairy as some of our other boys which makes him ideal for the hot Queensland climate. His dad Bill has the most magnificent horns and it looks like Bobby will follow in his footsteps. He would be perfect for someone beginning their cattle journey who wants a quiet steer to learn on and with. He will be finished his halter training process in the next few weeks and be ready for his forever home.

Maximus of Vagabond was born on the 17/03/2025 and is with his mum. He will be registered as purebred with the Australian Highland Society and as a mid sized miniature with the Poll Society. He will start halter training towards Christmas and will be ready for his forever home by the end of January 2026. Asking $15K plus GST
Paddock Stock For Sale
Our paddock stock consists of purebred unregistered highlands, cross bred highlands and a few special rare breed Sussex. They are used to being put through the cattle yards and handled by us.
Most people who buy our paddock stock are first time farmers who would like to learn on cattle with all the hard work already done before buying the purebred registered stock.
We currently have some cross bred highland calves for sale when they are weaned at about 6-9 months fully vaccinated and halter trained. Please contact us for more details.
Black Bullet - sold pending pick up
Black Bullet of Vagabond was born on the 4th August 2023 and is a purebred registered Steer. He was awarded Champion bull calf at the Royal Toowoomba Show 2024 and had no problem being surrounded by over 100 children and young adults as part of the junior judging at the show. He has a beautiful temperament and loves to be brushed in the paddock. You can put a halter on him anywhere and walk him home. This makes him a real asset to any farm as you no longer have to chase cattle, just call him and the others will follow. We have watched him grow and made the difficult decision to steer him as his structure wasn't perfect for a bull but he is perfectly suited for a first time cattle owner or hobby farmer. We usually sell our boys at weaning age but I just love him so I kept him to run with my cows so I knew when to AI them. He will end up with long horns and has been taught to easily walk through the vet crush as well as on a halter in the open paddock.

Isla and Dash are FOR SALE
Isla is perfect for hobby farmers just starting out with cattle. Her dad was my purebred registered highland bull Bill. Her mum Mia is 50% fresian 50% angus and was not only an excellent mum but being half fresian had enough milk to also let other calves suck from her.
Isla was born on the 06/03/2025 and has now completed her halter training and looking for a new home. Isla's offspring will look very hairy if she is put with a purebred bull (will be 75% highland). She is fully vaccinated for tickfever and 7 in 1.
Dash was born on the 11/03/2025 and is also 50% highland and 50% Angus/fresian. He is a gentle steer who was gifted to one of my volunteers for his 21st Birthday. He has his own vision to go into beef cattle and the sale of Dash will give him the opportunity to make his dream a reality. Both Isla and Dash are halter trained and walk up and hand feed in the paddock friendly.

Chief and Blake
Blake and Chief were both born in September 2024 and have turned into beautiful well mannered steers making them the ideal for the first time cattle owner or hobby farmer. Their mum's are Sussex which is a rare british breed that my grandfather bred many years ago and their dad was our purebred registered bull Bill. Both steers will end up with long horns but shorter hair in summer than my purebreds. They are both weaned, halter trained and fully vaccinated. This is an excellent way to get into cattle because of the ongoing breeder support for years after you take your boys home (and at a fraction of the cost of my purebreds).
Chief recently went to Redcliffe Show and was entered in the Led Steer competition. He loves to be washed and blow dried and even got into the spirit of the show winning the costume classic with our young volunteer who looked after him the entire show. Blake is also halter trained and pat friendly, he is a bit more reserved but loves his lucerne cubes.
